Update and Outlook for 2022
First I want to wish everyone of my supporters of “Project Hands of Hope” a huge Happy New Year and hope that 2022 is the year that finds you with much prosperity, good health, peace, and happiness.
I wanted to give you an update in regards to “Project Hands of Hope” as many of you have probably noticed there has been a pause in the posts here for quite some time and I wanted to explain some things as well as give you an update as to what my current status is as well as a future outlook.
Due to some life issues such as reuniting with my family, as well as trying to simply make a living has taken priority as my immediate focus. 2021 has been a very big struggle for not only myself but for my family as well in which lack of financial resources has placed a great strain on me and my family in order to make ends meet. At this time I am wanting to solely focus on solving problems such as finding a way to make a living so I can support my family as well as reuniting with them in which given the circumstances of COVID restrictions and Government mandates such as being able to afford three weeks of quarantine in a hotel, costs of travel, and lost time, has made things in my life extremely challenging and at times dire. Funding for this project has also been the main issue in which sad to say hasn’t found a lot of support from the private sector in which I was trying to appeal to in order to complete these films and fulfill the vision I had originally started off with when this project was conceived.
As I had observed the rest of the world during the COVID pandemic, it’s hard not to recognize that everyone is struggling with their own set of challenges during these difficult times, and I appreciate not losing perspective or empathy for the lives that have been severely affected by the circumstances that this pandemic has created while going through my own difficulties, and thus I continue to pray for others in hopes their lives improve as we head into a brand new year. Its through faith that I remain hopeful that even though this project is on a temporary hiatus that somehow down the road it will resume again in the future with a renewed focus and somehow with God’s will I receive the funding that I need to complete this ambitious important project. I am thankful for the support that I did receive and continue to do so and I will periodically be giving updates as to both my personal situation when it changes as well as any news regarding “Project Hands of Hope” such as when production of it will be resuming again. I haven’t given up, I am just regrouping to come back better and stronger than before!
