Happy Fathers Day

This morning, I got a call from my wife and son in Macau to wish me a Happy Fathers day. It was nice to be able to make such connections, especially considering that its now been almost a year and a half since I have seen them due to the insane border closures relating to the pandemic panic.

I would be lying if I said i didn’t feel a tinge of jealousy when seeing fathers with their children out and about on this day, while I am still waiting to be reunited with mine. But what I am reminded by as being a Christian is to be happy for them that they get to experience such joys and that such moments should never be taken for granted.

I just want to wish all those wonderful fathers out there a Happy Fathers day!
